Miss Piggy's wedding dress revealed

Could Miss Piggy finally be tying the knot with her beloved frog Kermit?

She certainly has the big-gun designer, Vivienne Westwood, who designed the lavish outfit for Muppets Most Wanted (out March 21).

"Vivienne Westwood is fabulous—just like moi," Miss Piggy is quoted saying in a statement from Disney Studios on Tuesday. "When I asked her to design this wedding dress for moi's new movie Muppets Most Wanted, she was thrilled and I was thrilled. The only one a bit 'iffy' about it was the Frog."

In the film, Miss Piggy wears a Vivienne Westwood couture Long Ivory Court wedding gown, with corset detailing and paillettes made from recycled plastic bottles, accessorized with an ivory tulle veil.

Westwood also designed other outfits for the film. Miss Piggy wears a Vivienne Westwood couture Harris Tweedhoundstooth check coat and matching beret worn in a scene set at the famed Tower of London. There is also a long, silver hand-embroidered floral lace gown for another scene in the film.

So she has the clothes, but does Miss Piggy have the frog forever? In most Muppet films Kermit has always expressed cold feet on his frog legs. Could the new film, also starring Tina Fey, Ty Burrell and Ricky Gervais be different?

"You'll have to see the movie to find out," said Miss Piggy in the statement.
